The Americans at the Davao Masonic Memorial Park

There are a number of Americans buried at the Davao Masonic Memorial Park. It was said that some of them are US war Veterans, others are those who had contributed to the initial development of Davao City.
In 2004, a group of Davao Masons tried to exhume these American tombs to sell the land to a private developer. We have stopped them through the cancellation of the development permit issued by the City. Today, they are trying to title the lot of the Park in their names. The only way to stop them is by a city declaration of a historical site for the Park.
Our advocacy is to preserve the historical value and conserve our heritage. We would like to know more about these Americans whose tombstone pictures will be shown here.
For anyone who knows them, please send us the biography or pictures, so we can at least show our gratefulness to them by adding their names in our history.
We appreciate your help.

My grand father is Harry Bloomfield Hughes Sr. who is buried at the Masonic Park in Davao. What kind of information do you need? I'll be glad to assist you.

Where would you like me to post my grand father's bio?

Jerry Nicholas Roscom was my great uncle. His dad, Henry Roscom, is buried there, Martha, Jerry's daughter and Josephine, Jerry's grandaughter. Jerry was instrumental in developing Davao, and some of his children are still living. The one in Texas vividly remembers his dad, and the hell they went through when the Japanese attacked that area. Jerry and his children were prisoners of the Japanese, yet Jerry was able to develop much of the area after the war. He is a hero, and much of the Roscoms still live in the Phillipines. He developed a town called "Jerico", and he had the first theater in Davao, as well as a carausel (?)and the first horse drawn carriage which he used like a taxi. Dan, my cousin here in Texas, put his dad's headstone and the other headstone in that cemetery. Any way we can be of help, we will be glad to do it.
